Jeff Wade is the Lab Director for UCG’s newest facility located in Monterey California. He is also working on developing and implementing UCG’s extensive training program.
Jeff specializes in the medical benefits of cannabis and ethanol extraction. Prior to joining the UCG team, he worked as the Lab Director for a leading medical cannabis company that focuses on the plant’s capabilities to treat cancer. He is a published author in the Journal of Biochemistry, and has extensive experience in developing unique formulations and processing techniques to create the highest quality and most efficient cannabis products to fight cancer.
Jeff graduated Humboldt State University with degrees in Chemistry and Oceanography. He worked as a Fisheries Biologist for the Sonoma County Water agency and as a Chemical Oceanographer for Pacific Gas and Electric.
With over 15 years of experience managing indoor and outdoor grow operations, Jeff has a thorough understanding of cultivation, harvesting, curing techniques, and the resulting impact on product yield and quality.
