Sean Monaghan serves as UCG’s financial and project analysist, providing expertise in financial modeling, projections and planning for UCG and its clients.
He is also a senior investment professional at Symphony Asset Management in San Francisco, with a book of business worth over $3 billion. He is responsible for sector coverage as well as assisting in covering distressed assets across a wide range of industries.
Sean has represented creditors and served as a workout advisor in several bankruptcy matters, each having liquidated asset values ranging from $500 million to $500 billion.
Prior to Symphony Asset Management, Sean worked for Duane Park as a senior investment professional in New York. He has also held research roles with Penn Capital and CRT Capital.
Sean is a graduate of Wake Forest University with dual degrees in Economics and Finance. He enjoys exploring new restaurants, golfing, skiing, travelling, cooking and spending time with his dog.
