WHO WE ARE

UCG Inc. was founded in 2019 by cannabis industry experts including, Derek Thiel, Dylan Thiel, and Sushanta Parikh.

We are cannabis operators and CPG professionals that have the expertise and know-how to make high-quality cannabis concentrate products, consistently and at scale. UCG was founded by West Coast cannabis operators with over 30 years of experience. We have demonstrated our ability to execute successfully at scale and license a brand in multiple jurisdictions.

    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Eli is an experienced attorney and brings his expertise in corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Korer is leading UCG’s expansion through its licensing/franchise strategy.

  • Derek Thiel

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Derek is a founder of UCG and brings his industry experience paired with operational expertise internally at UCG and for multiple cannabis manufacturing extraction facility projects.

  • Dylan Thiel

    CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

    Dylan is the technical and innovation leader at UCG. He brings his unique skill set as a manufacturing engineer to manage and execute on the complex nature of a multi-state cannabis business.

  • Adam Siskin

    CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Adam leverages expertise in the CPG arena to support UCG's business planning. Adam develops and executes financial strategies while helping the company position its brand Dabstract to become a leader in the concentrate category.

  • Adam Robins

    Adam advises UCG on business development, negotiation, business planning, management and governance matters. He has deep experience running family offices and owning/operating a manufacturing and distribution company.

  • Jon Bond

    Jon is one of the advertising and marketing industry's most recognized thought leaders. He was co-founder and CEO of Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners (KBP) – arguably the original “word of mouth” agency. Clients included BMW, Target and the Coca Cola Company.

  • Glenn Backus

    Currently, Glenn is the EVP of Product Development for Martha Stewart Kitchen and sits on the board of Viper, an AI driven technology company.

  • John Richard Daley

    John is a member of UCG’s advisory board and advises the company on cannabis industry strategy and business development.
